The traditional furniture is of the following three structural features:

1.Taking standing wood as pillar;
2.Taking horizontal wood as connection materials;

The structure of furniture of Ming and Qing Dynasty may be grouped into the following four categories:
1.Basic connection;
2.Connection between furniture foot and leg and upper components;
3.Connection between furniture foot and leg and lower components;and
4.Additional tenon pins.
